COVID-19 Update

Like many businesses large and small, RJD Residential has made adjustments to its operations in response to the COVID-19 public health crisis. In the last few weeks, RJD Residential has made provisions to continue to serve the residential construction community in the current environment. However, emergency orders and the need for social distancing in everyday operations will affect some services for the immediate future, as described below.

Ongoing Projects:

RJD Residential is committed to supporting existing clients and ongoing projects with minimal interruption.  While some projects have been delayed for a variety of reasons resulting from COVID-19, including disruptions affecting vendors and collaborators, the delays have been and are expected to be limited. When necessary, RJD Residential will try to expedite delayed services and deliverables that are time-sensitive.

  • Analysis and Design Services: Generally, disruption to analysis and design services will be minimal. Due to potential inefficiencies of remotely working with collaborators, delivery time for construction documents may be increased slightly

  • Meetings: To the fullest extent practicable, meetings will be conducted online or by telephone.

  • Site Visits: If necessary, site visits will be performed for ongoing construction, as permitted by state and local emergency orders. RJD Residential will utilize social distancing measures and/or personal protective equipment to reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission.

New Projects:

RJD Residential is available to take on new projects. However, state and local emergency orders may restrict the ability to provide in-person service. Therefore, initial consultations will be provided via telephone or videoconference. Site visits that do not qualify as ‘essential’ services will be scheduled after the relevant emergency order is lifted or modified to permit the site visit to take place. For permitted site visits, RJD Residential will utilize social distancing measures and/or personal protective equipment to reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission. Most analysis and design services can be performed with minimal impact. Now is a great time to plan and begin design for a new project.
